GoPro – a brand synonymous with staggering footage of people plummeting through cliffsand close encounters with Great Whites – has added a new camera to its Hero range.
The HERO4 Session is some 50 per cent smaller and 40 per cent lighter than the firm’s Black and Silver cameras, but remains compatible with previous GoPro accessories.
The latest GoPro is also waterproof to 10 metres – without an external case.
But despite the new smaller design, the GoPro HERO4 Session still captures the same 1080p footage that won the firm an Emmy in 2013.
It also takes eight megapixel stills in either single, burst or time lapse modes.
The HERO4 Session is controlled entirely by a single button, although a companion smartphone app and smart remote offer more in-depth controls.
The GoPro HERO4 Session is available from today for £329.99.
